Objectives of the Course To provide sufficient theoretical and practical training to give practice and preventive medicine qualifications to trainees in respiratory, gastrointestinal, urogenital system congenital and acquired diseases and head and neck pathologies and various surgical issues that may be encountered in childhood age group. In emergency situations which may belong to these systems, it is possible to perform the necessary intervention in the maximum extent and to take the necessary precautions to ensure the transfer of the patient or patients on appropriate conditions.
Contents of the Course Features of childhood trauma and approach to traumatic child, diagnosis and treatment of inguinoscrotal pathologies, approach to acute abdomen and gatrointestinal system hemorrhage, surgical causes of respiratory distress in newborn and congenital oesophagus and diaphragm pathologies, neonatal gastrointestinal obstructions and liver and biliary tract diseases, congenital abdominal wall defects, childhood tumors, congenital obstructive uropathy of children and vesico ureteral reflux.
