Toros University School of Health; Ministerial decree No. 2012/3620 dated 8/8/2012 and was established by the Council. Health Management department has begun to accept students during the 2014-2015 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
Bachelor's Degree in Health Management is given to the students who have successfully completed all of the thought courses of the programme.

First Cycle

Admission & Registration Requirements
In order to be accepted for this program, the exams and processes set by OSYM in academic and legal framework of regulations should be completed. Programme accepts students that have type of TM-1 score.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Which students come to from horizontal and vertical transitions before they are successful in their undergraduate and graduate courses with the decision of the board of directors will be able to exempt to program.

To be able to secure the bachelor's degree in the field of Health Care Management the students are required to to complete 240 ECT credits and to have achieved a cumulative gross point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Profile of the Programme
The Department of Health Management aims to train highly qualified professional health managers equipped with knowledge, skills and ideals to manage healthcare institutions, using foreign languages well, having a production oriented entrepreneurship, developed communication and leadership skills, and equipped with the principles, concepts, knowledge and skills required for the profession.

The graduates of our Faculty may be easily employed in various public and private healthcare institutions in administrative or managerial positions. The professional health managers who will be graduated from our department may employed by; Ministry of Health, Health insurance departments of institutions such as “Social Security Institution”, Public Hospitals University and Foundation Hospitals Private Hospitals Rehabilitation Centers Various treatment centers Organizations that provide residential care Private Health Insurance Companies Organizations that provide medical devices Pharmaceutical Institutions

Completing the program and Ales and sufficient knowledge of foreign language graduates with can apply to a variety masters and doctorate degree programs.

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
The details of assessment and grading regulations for each lesson is given for each course in the Course Teaching Plan (Syllabus) in accourding to Toros University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.

Departmental Facilities
Department students can take part in all of the social, cultural, sports facilities and club activities that are provided by Toros University Rectorate. Besides, in our department there are various clubs. Students can take a part in the activities of these clubs in the light of their area of interest. By means of symposiums and congresses in various topics, spekaers that are invited to our faculty, and internships; students have the chance of chasing the developments in practice as well as in theory. Furthermore students have also the chance to be members of faculty teams in sports branches like football, basketball, volleyball etc.
