| The Institute of Social Sciences of Toros University was founded in 2009 with the Law No: 5913/1 on 23rd of June, 2009; issued on 07th July 2009 No.(R): 27281. The foundation of "Business Economics Program" has been approved by The Council of Higher Education of Turkey on 31.08.2010. |

| Admission & Registration Requirements |
| Those who have four-year university degree can apply to the programs. No ALES requirement for the Non-thesis Business Economics program. |
| Recognition of Prior Learning |
| Students who have studied at other Universities may transfer to Toros University Programmes and the courses they have taken can be accepted under the conditions specified in the Directive of Toros University on Graduate Programs. |

| Profile of the Programme |
| The objective of the program is to improve the compepetive power of private sector representatives in domestic and international markets. By this purpose the program tries to transfer the knowledge on firm theory and other required information and vision which might be necessary in the competition environment. |
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates |
| Graduates of the program are expected to gain skills suitable to medium and high level managerial positions in the private sector. |
| Access to Further Studies |
| Students who have "Business Economics/without thesis" degree cannot apply to doctorate programs. |
| Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations |
| All conditions for exams, grading and assessment are provided in the syllabus of the course. At least one midterm and one final exam for each course. A term project can also be assigned. The exams are generally in written form. Grading is performed according to 4-point system. All details can be found in the Directory of Toros University Graduate Programs. |
| Graduation Requirements |
| The graduation requirements for the Business Economics Program are a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grade for each course (no grade below CC) and a successful completion of Project for the Business Economics program as indicated in the Directive of Graduate Programs of Toros University. |
| Departmental Facilities |
| The courses are given in the evening between 18:00-21:00 in order to enable the working students to attend the courses. |
