The Medical Laboratory Techniques program started teaching at the Vocational High School in the Bahçelievler Campus of Toros University in 2014-2015 academic year.

Admission & Registration Requirements
Vocational high school of health graduates can enter program without examination, other graduates have to receive sufficent score in the national student placement exam.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who are accepted to register in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program are students who have completed vocational health secondary education and/or an equivalent education abroad and/or have received sufficent score in the national student placement exam.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To get an associate of science degree in Medical Laboratory Techniques program, it is required to complete 120 ECTS credits and have at least 2,00 general academic avarege out of 4,00.

Profile of the Programme
Vocational School of Toros University, Medical Laboratory Techniques Program offers a 2 year associate of science degree education. Education language is Turkish. The aim of the program is to provide the necessary training for persons whom the physician deems necessary for medical analysis in relation to patient's condition within the laboratory diagnosis and treatment in health institutions. The students attend practical studies in routine laboratory in fourth semester and summer practice at the end of second and fourth semesters to maintain the theoretical and practical studies seen for two years.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of Medical Laboratory Techniques Program can work in university and government hospitals, health centers, private clinics and analysis laboratories, public health institutions, food industry enterprises, research centers of health institutions.

Access to Further Studies
The Candidates who have completed associate degree education entering the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by ÖSYM may apply to undergraduate programs determined by ÖSYM. Preferable Degree Programs: Biology, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
Testing and evaluation methods implemented in the courses are defined in the “course instructional plan” which takes place in the information package. The relevant articles in the Examination Regulation of Toros University Associate and Undergraduate Education are used for the exams and final grades.

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to take provided courses in return for 120 ECTS credits and succeed in them; have a general academic average of 2.00 out of 4.00 to be able to graduate from the program.
