Recognition of Prior Learning
The students who study at Toros University may be exempt from some courses according to certain regulations. They may be exempt from the courses if the application is in time and the content is approved by the administrative board of the related vocational school/faculty/institute

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To get an associate of science degree in Optician program, it is required to complete 120 ECTS credits and have at least 2,00 general academic avarege out of 4,00.

Profile of the Programme
Vocational School of Health Services, Optician Program offers a 2 year associate of science degree education. Education language is Turkish. The aim of the program is to educate medical laboratory technicians who have ability of analytical thinking, espouse the thought of total quality, ethical values and satisfy the needs of field towards scientific and technological improvements and develop dexterity to train qualified.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of this program can work in optical stores as a owner or as a responsible manager and also Ministry of Health, Health Directorates, hospitals,medical centers

Access to Further Studies
The Candidates who have completed associate degree education entering the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by ÖSYM may apply to undergraduate programs determined by ÖSYM. Preferable Degree Programs: Biology, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
Testing and evaluation methods implemented in the courses are defined in the “course instructional plan” which takes place in the information package. The relevant articles in the Examination Regulation of Hacettepe University Associate and Undergraduate Education are used for the exams and final grades.

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to take provided courses in return for 120 ECTS credits and succeed in them; have a general academic average of 2.00 out of 4.00 to be able to graduate from the program.
