Objectives of the Course The main purpose of the course is; Recognize the importance of family involvement in pre-school education, be able to recognize and be aware of the application for family programs implemented in Turkey, the family, the child's ability to explain its contribution to the socio-cultural development, the ability to recognize their parenting styles.
Contents of the Course Basic concepts of family education; the importance, goals and principles of family education; family education models; family theories (Family System Theories, Social Relations Theory, Bioecological Theory, Structural Functional Theory); family education practices in Turkey and in other countries; planning, implementing and evaluating family education activities; methods and techniques used in family education; family participation studies (family communication activities, family participation in educational activities, individual interviews, home visits); Examining the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (EBADER) with the Education Program for Children 0-36 months and the Pre-School Education Program and the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (OBADER).
