Objectives of the Course |
The basic concepts, rules and principles related to sterilization and disinfection should be based on the aseptic technique of cleanliness, disinfection / sterilization, infectious disease and / or immune system deprivation of the equipment and materials to be used in the operating room, respecting human rights and dignity, taking personal protection measures, The prevention of spreading. |

Definition of contamination, decontamination and cleanliness, asepsis, antisepsis and prevention, asepsis types, Definition of disinfectant and disinfectant, types and usage areas according to effect levels of disinfectants, properties to be found in an ideal disinfectant, Disinfectants, disinfectants and antiseptics used in hospitals, hand hygiene, Sterilization techniques, sterilization methods, basic principles in sterilization, characteristics of the sterilization unit, rules to be followed in order to be effective in disinfection and sterilization, precautions to be taken in a patient who is infected and / or immune system deprived, materials washing and preparation units , Safety testing in sterilization, and documentation, coding and documentation of sets, preparation and sterilization of surgical (metal) material, sterilization of plastic material, storage and preservation of sterile material. |
