Objectives of the Course The course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of social work as a science and profession, concepts and approaches; Social services in the world and to teach the historical development and functioning in Turkey; to understand the basic principles of social work intervention to the needs of individuals and communities; and to provide the ability to use methods that provide social welfare within the field of social services.
Contents of the Course Basic concepts and theories of social work, Application areas of social work, Relationship between the disciplines that constitute social service, Social work theories, The correct method and problem in the field of social work application fiction.
