Objectives of the Course | The course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of social work as a science and profession, concepts and approaches; Social services in the world and to teach the historical development and functioning in Turkey; to understand the basic principles of social work intervention to the needs of individuals and communities; and to provide the ability to use methods that provide social welfare within the field of social services. |
