Objectives of the Course |
In Microbiology is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills. Infectious diseases this course gives basic concepts and measures to be taken for the prevention of nosocomial infections. All kinds of method to learn the principles of sterilization and disinfection, find out the operating principles of aseptic. |
Contents of the Course |
Bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses general information about. Reproduction and metabolism of microorganisms, normal flora of microorganisms and microbe-host relations between the routes of microorganism transmission. Basic immune response, mechanisms of action and resistance of antibiotics. Medically important bacteria, fungi, parasites and virus diseases. Current theoretical knowledge specific to infectious diseases are described. Evaluates the ways of prevention of communicable diseases, and especially blood, body fluids and secretions identifies the importance of vaccination against infectious diseases transmitted by.
