Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to compare the different health systems to reveal the effects of health systems on the level of health of the society and to evaluate the performance of the health systems through analyzing the differences between the health systems by using specific country samples.
Contents of the Course Within the scope of Comparative Health Systems course; determinants of health and factors affecting healthcare use, definition of health system, the goals and functions of health system are examined. The reasons of comparison of health systems, health system classification approaches, and analysis and evaluation of some country samples in terms of health system are studied and compared them with other countries.
