Objectives of the Course |
Goal; To give information about engineering and technology management concepts which have an important place in terms of providing sustainable competitive advantage within the industry by taking a sectoral and institutional perspective. In this context; - To teach the management structures in business, - To teach the methodology of the work in technology units, - to increase the level of knowledge about the process of generating ideas / leadership - To provide information on the relationship between engineering and technology management with other business functions. |
Contents of the Course |
In this course, the definition of engineering, the definition of engineering management, management levels and fields, basic management skills, role differences between engineers and managers to learn the definitions such as to benefit the benefit of businesses; will be given to students aiming to work in engineering and technology management activities; concept of leadership, concept of leadership, idea generation and development process, management departments in enterprises, engineering management, innovative leadership principles, technology management concepts. |
