Objectives of the Course To examine the emergence and transformation of different furniture designs, to have knowledge of the major events that have influenced furniture design in history, to learn the major designers and designs, to establish a position against the legacy of the past and a broad expectation horizon for the future. to produce solutions to present the appropriate design according to aesthetic criteria.
Contents of the Course Furniture in Neolithic and Antique Periods, furniture design in Anatolia and Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Etruscans and Rome

1 To perceive the formation and change in the social, intellectual, political and economic dimensions of the plastic arts created in the Middle Ages and the New Ages in the historical process
