Objectives of the Course Teaching the analysis of furniture interior space design relations in historical perspective.
Contents of the Course Be able to produce the product that is designed to provide students and also allow people to use the production process is the ultimate goal. Expected from the students in the production process, according to the structure of their design, ergonomics, cost estimation, that they consider the use of the material selection. Original approach with detailed solutions they produce thinking in the design of potential and limitations are also evaluated. Appropriate technical drawings of the project and submit their design is also required.

1 To apply basic design principles, with particular focus on furniture design
2 To evaluate, select and use information and research findings to furniture design
3 To confidently use form, function and construction, technical isssues in design process from sketches to prototype
4 To bring about problem solving methods from idea generation to production stage
5 To produce competent presentation drawings accross a range of appropriate media and integrate oral and visual material to present furniture design ideas clearly
6 To select, interpret and apply appropriate ergonomic and anthropometric data
7 To consider a broad range of materials and contemporary issues affecting furniture design
8 To come up with the design proposals for the needs vary for different socio-economic populations
