Objectives of the Course The aim of the course; Students will acquire practical-theoretical knowledge and skills in patient storytelling, general physiotherapy evaluations, basic principles of movement, posture analysis (lateral, anterior, posterior), shortness tests, flexibility tests, anthropometric measurements, normal joint motion and muscle strength assessments .
Contents of the Course Patient history and general physiotherapy evaluations, basic principles of movement, posture analysis (anterior, lateral, posterior), shortness and flexibility tests, anthropometric measurements (circumference, length, diameter and fat measurements), normal joint motion and muscle strength assessments

Learning Outcomes of Course

1 Get the stories of the patients with different diagnoses, about the patient and the disease Identify general problems
2 Learn basic principles of movement, understand the importance of these principles in physiotherapy programs
3 Learns the analysis of lateral, anterior, and posterior postures, and identifies the postural disturbances seen in healthy subjects.
4 Learn to practice shortness and flexibility tests.
5 Learn to apply anthropometric measurements (environment, length, diameter and fat tissue measurements).
6 Gain the ability to evaluate normal joint movements.
7 Learn muscle strength measurement.
