Objectives of the Course | The aim of the course ‘’Foreign Language I’’ in which English is taught as a foreign language is to level up the students from elementary to intermediate level –that is to say- from basic user to independent user. The objective is to improve listening, reading, writing and speaking |
Contents of the Course | The lecture is carried out by teaching the necessary units and a sufficient number of activities and exercises step by step in the beginner level progressing to intermediate level. The classes are based on mutual communication activities and dramatization of daily dialogues to help students become familiar with everyday language. In addition, outstanding reading passages and vocabulary exercises are part of the classes which help students build their reading comprehension skills, writing skills and vocabulary knowledge. Online interactive activities, dialogues and dramatization studies are within the context of the course. |
