Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to help the students to learn the theoretical and practical aspects of orthopedic and sportive rehabilitation. Theoretical knowledge about orthopedic rehabilitation principles is supported by theoretical and practical knowledge of exercise physiology.
Contents of the Course Fracture healing, Physical therapy and exercise in broken patients, Regional orthopedic rehabilitation: Upper and lower extremities, Physical therapy rehabilitation in hip and knee arthroplasty, Immune-inflammation-pain, Approach to rheumatological patient, Basic measurement in rheumatic diseases, Physical therapy in rheumatic diseases: physical therapy in diseases: electrotherapy, exercise in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, exercise in patients with ankylosing spondylitis, exercise in patients with osteoarthritis, hand rehabilitation in rheumatic diseases
