Objectives of the Course | The objective of this course is to acquaint students with traditional topics in labor economics. After completion of the course students will understand the basic theoretical models of labor economics and how these can be applied to policy issues; and be familiar with the empirical approaches used to evaluate these models. |
Contents of the Course | The main aim of this course is to discuss the fundamental theoretical models of labor economics and their political applications. Furthermore, special topics in labor economics such as wage discrimination, labor force participation are analysed using empirical instruments. |
