Objectives of the Course To have knowledge about the departments in logistics firm, to define the process of logistics operation and to have the ability of problem solving, correct decision making and alternative plan production.
Contents of the Course The concept of logistics, the increasing importance of logistics in business life, the basic business processes of logistics management, the relations between warehouse department and businesses, performance management and sector applications in logistics businesses, information systems, e-logistics, logistics enterprises, method and performance studies, performance applications.

1 Recognize the importance of acting in accordance with the social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the process of collecting, interpreting and applying the data related to the basic operations and management organization function in logistics operation.
2 Student has information about departments in a logistics company.
3 Describes the purpose and responsibilities of logistics operation and its processes.
4 Defines the sub-functions (planning, organizing, executing, coordinating, supervising) the management of the management for the management-organization function.
5 They begin to develop capabilities that are competitive with the competitive nature of the logistics business environment.
