Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to introduce students some of the major theories of personality and the research methods used to test these theories.
Contents of the Course This course examines assumptions about the nature of humankind. Students focus on psychometric techniques as well as major theories and theorists.

1 articulate the underlying themes, methodology, and assumptions of each model and tradtion
2 articulate the major concepts and principles of each personality theory discussed in the class and in the text,
3 demonstrate the application and awareness of the principles of personality to one's life,
4 to use the various theorists ideas to explain the behavior of the main character
5 . weigh evidence, tolerate ambiguity, act ethically, and reflect other values that are the underpinnings of psychology as a discipline.
