Objectives of the Course Theoretical knowledge of basic chemistry to engineering students, the student to form a base before granting engineering program, the development of problem-solving skills; chemistry in daily life events in connection with the withdrawal of the student's attention.
Contents of the Course Basic concepts, properties of matter, stoichiometry, symbols, chemical formula, chemical reactions, atomic structure, periodic table, some atomic properties, chemical bonds, gases, solubility, solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, redox and electrochemistry.

# Subjects Teaching Methods and Technics
1 Matter and measurement the subject of chemistry: the definition and classification of the substance, the common properties of the substance, the substance of distinctive features, the preparation and properties of the mixture, mixture and the differences between the compounds, mixtures separation, purification and seperation methods, the separation of sediments solutions
2 Symbols, formulas and chemical reactions: chemical symbols, formulas and naming compounds, the compound of Formula Writing and Reading, naming chemical compounds, Atomic, grams, and the actual atomic scale, Mol grams, and the actual number of moles of molecular scale, and changes in physical-chemical properties, principles of chemical reactions.
