Objectives of the Course The main aim of the course is to teach the birth and development of modern Turkey, to give accurate information about Kemalist Thought System, Turkish Republic History and threats against Turkey and Kemalist Thought System, to train Turkish youth in an indivisible unity with the country, the nation and the state in line with the Atatürkist Thought System and to consolidate them around the national targets; to raise individuals with a personality of rational, contemporary, honorable, hardworking, full of dignity and national love, tolerant and humanistic ideas.
Contents of the Course Republican proclamation and political social cultural revolutions, economic breakthroughs, and their conclusion, problems that the Lausanne Peace Treaty can not reach solution, Movements against new plane, Multiparty life experiences and results, Atatürk period, Turkish Foreign Policy, Inonu period and World War II years, Turkey's transition to multi-party, Democratic Party period and post-Ataturkism, and Ataturk's Principles.
