Foundation
The graduate level program was established in 2010 under the Department of International Trade and Logistics Management and commenced education during the 2010-2011 academic year. The theme of the program is fed by various fields and requires inter-disciplinary work. The courses are divided into compulsory core courses and electives. In addition to vocational courses there are relevant field courses such as economics, business administration, law and engineering. The program is supported with business English, research assignments, seminars, symposiums and workshops. There are two versions of the program: with or without a thesis.

Qualification Awarded
Students, who successfully complete the program, are entitled to Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Admission & Registration Requirements
The candidates of the graduate programmes without thesis are required to hold an undergraduate diploma. If the candidates have not graduated yet at the time of their application, their application will be accepted on the condition that they are required to submit their diploma or their graduation certificate by the time they start the programme. Candidates with diplomas from other countries are required to submit the equivalency certificate that they obtained from the Council of Higher Education. Post-Graduate Education Entrance Exam scores (ALES) of candidates must be at least 55 standard points. This can be upgraded by University Senate. The scores of the candidates who have GRE or GMAT result certificates which are accepted as equivalents of ALES by the Council of Higher Education are calculated on the basis of the equivalent score table published by the Council of Higher Education.

Recognition of Prior Learning
At Toros University, International Trade and Logistics Department full-time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related bylaws. If the content of the course previously taken in another institution is equivalent to the course offered at Toros University, then the student can be exempted from this course with the approval of the related faculty/graduate school after the evaluation of the course content.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students to obtain undergraduate degree in logistics required to complete the compulsory and elective courses (total 90 ECTS) to successfully complete all must be at least 2.75 out of 4.00 of complete and overall GPA.

Profile of the Programme
To educate the management candidates who knows the basic principles, strategies, functions and techniques of international trade and logistics management, who are equiped with analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills, who can approach events and problems with systems thinking and supply chain perspective.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Our graduates find placement in logistics businesses, international trade and/or logistics departments of businesses, various government offices, in education sector and in both national and international organizations.

Access to Further Studies
The graduates of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Master’s program may apply to study in Ph.D. programs (third cycle) in the same field or other fields.

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
The beginning of the semester to register for each course and to take the final exam period for at least Some 70% of the course, if the application is required to be continued for at least 80%. At least one midterm exam for each course, students are subjected to the final exam and exams. Success grade, midterm exams (midterm homework, lab exam, the scores obtained from measuring tools such as quizzes can be evaluated) contribution is the contribution of the final exam semester 40% as 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. It must have at least 30 points in the final exam. A student AA, BA, BB, CB and CC notes one considered successful in that course. DC and DD are conditional success. DC or DD grade students take the overall weighted grade average to be successful in a course (GPA) must be at least 2.0.

Graduation Requirements
Are required to complete the programme in four semesters, excluding the scientific preparation programme. The maximum allowed duration is six semesters. Are required to complete all courses and seminar course in four semesters. Are required to successfully complete their thesis study in maximum allowable time and are required to successfully defend their thesis. Otherwise students will be expelled from the programme. Are required to register to the programme four at least three semesters. Are required to take and successfully pass at least seven courses, are required to have 2.75 general average grades out of 4.00 on the all these completed courses, and are to be successful in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis defence.
