Admission & Registration Requirements
Those who have four-year university degree can apply to the programs. ALES exam grade at least 55 in “equal wighting system” is required for the Thesis program. Students who have already started master's degree studies in other domestic or international universities may also apply for admission according to Regulations of Council of Higher Education and Toros University. The students who have taken university degree from abroad should submit "equivalency diploma", ALES grade of at least 55 or equivalent exam grade as GRE, GMAT, etc. See for details: Admission Requirements to Graduate Programs/ The Directive of Toros University Graduate Programs. The applicans may be given a writeen scientific exam, or only an interview, or both. The evaluation of the applicants may also be based on only the application forms.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have studied at other Universities may transfer to Toros University Programmes and the courses they have taken can be accepted under the conditions specified in the Directive of Toros University on Graduate Programs. Course Accreditation Table is developed for the candidates as the content of each course taken before should at least be %70 equivalent in the corresponding course. In case of credit inbalance 1credit lacking is acceptable. The student may ask exemption for maximum 3 courses which grades are AA, BA, BB, CB, or CC and not older than 3 years. The number of the courses taken as a special student that may be given exemption should not exceed %50 of the total number of courses in the program.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students are required to complete the compulsory and elective courses, total 7 courses. The total credit is at least 21, which is equivalent to at least 120 ECTS); give a seminar together with the seminar report, and prepare a thesis and successfully defend it in a jury.

Profile of the Programme
Psychology master program aims their students to acquire the skills of accessing and improving theoretical, practical and methodological knowledge in their subareas and transforming their knowledge into novel approaches to psychological issues and into the practice.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Some of our students work in hospitals, counseling centers (e.g., health centers of universities), nursery schools and higher level schools, research institutions, or assume administrative and research positions at certain ministries (e.g., mental health section of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice). They can also work at various advertisement firms, and other public and private organizations to develop assessment techniques for selection, placement and to coordinate human relationships public relations and human resources. Naturally, the level at which they will be employed and the nature of their responsibilities will tend to vary depending on their post-graduate qualifications and the requirements of the related institutions

Access to Further Studies
Students who complete the M.A programme successfully can apply to Ph.D. programmes provided that: They have required scores from the related parts of Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES). They have the sufficient scores from English Proficiency Tests (ÜDS, KPDS, TOEFL etc.) (Tests approved by the Inter-university Committee) They are successful in the interview administered by the Department.

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
All conditions for exams, grading and assessment are provided in the syllabus of the course. At least one midterm and one final exam for each course. A term project can also be assigned. The exams are generally in written form. Grading is performed according to 4-point system. The weight of the final exam should not be less than 50 percent and not more than 60 percent of the final grade. In addition to exams the student may also be assigned to prepare project or homework of which the weight is not more than 20 percent. Graduation Requirements
The graduation requirements for Program are a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grade for each course (no grade below CC) and a successful completion of thesis for the MBA-Thesis program and a successful completion of Project for the Nonthesis program as indicated in the Directive of Graduate Programs of Toros University.The total ECTS should not be less than 120.

Our department has seven full-time faculty members, including 2 professor, 3 assistant professor and 2 research assistant, who are conducting educational and scientific activities at undergraduate and graduate level.
