Objectives of the Course |
Pharmacology is the study of drugs that interact with living systems. Students will be able to express their knowledge about mechanism of detoxification, dispersion and absorption of each drug group, mechanism and effects of drugs to body, drug interactions and side effects. |
Contents of the Course |
Pharmacological terms, drug routes of administration, dosage forms, drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination, chemotherapeutics, cardiovascular system drugs, hormones and hormonomimetic drugs, drugs used in the central nervous system diseases general and local anesthetics ,narcotic analgesics, drug use in the elderly. |
