Objectives of the Course To give the knowledge and skills about the maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipments. To give knowledge and skills about work flow in medical laboratory. To give knowledge and skills about laboratory safety, personal precautions, detection of physical, chemical and biological risks and taking precautions for the establishment of a safe laboratory.
Contents of the Course General information of laboratory, Medical laboratory information, Safety data sheet (MSDS), Chemical hazard warning signs, Risks of chemicals, Laboratory glass, plastic, metal and other material knowledge and use, Laboratory physical conditions, Laboratory organization, Staff working in hospitals and medical laboratories, Duties and responsibilities of medical laboratory technicians
