The Management Department of the Faculty of Economics Administrative and Social Sciences of Toros University was founded in 2009 with the Law No: 5913/1 on 23rd of June, 2009; issued on 07th July 2009 No.(R): 27281.

Admission & Registration Requirements
Those who have a lycee degree and successfully passed the central University Entrance Exam can apply the department. The cenral registration system will assign the student to the program according to his/her total exam grade of LYS TM-1. The students should also successfully complete the English Preparation School or should pass the English exam given by the Toros University Preparation School.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have registered and studied at other Universities may transfer to Toros University Programmes and the courses they have taken can be accepted under the conditions specified in the Directive of Toros University on Undergraduate Programs.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
No specific rules and conditions, except those defined and applied by the Board of Higher Education (YÖK). To graduate from the program, the stduent should achieve at least a 2.0-GPA with no course of FF or FD. The general structure of the program is as follows: Common must course number and percentage: 11, %22 Department must course and percentage: 23, %46 Elective courses, number and percentage: 16, %32 The term for first elective courses: 2nd year (3rd term) Internship: YES Prerequisite Courses: NONE The students start taking elective courses by the 2nd year (3rd term). Must courses continue throughout the program. Program constitues 50 courses equivalent to 240 ECTS.

Profile of the Programme
The main objective of the program is develop prospective leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs both for private and public business organizations. The Program is designed to equip the students with both theoretical and practical knowledge of the contemporary management and business functions such as marketing, finance, human resources, logistics, etc.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduated students have a wide range of employment possibilities. Some examples of our graduate students’ employment are export and trade companies, accounting agencies, logistics companies, municipalities, governors’ offices, public and private institutions.

Access to Further Studies
Those who graduated from the department can apply to masters and/or MBA graduate programs or directly apply to a doctorate program depending on the conditions specified by each university. However, as a general rule, those who have at least 55 points from ALES (Generel Exam for Academic programs) can apply to master programs with thesis and who have at least 80 can directly apply to a doctorate program. No ALES requirement for non-thesis graduate programs.

Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations
All conditions for exams, grading and assessment are provided in the syllabus of the course. At least one midterm and one final exam for each course. A term project can also be assigned. The exams are generally in written form. Grading is performed according to 4-point system. All details can be found in the Directory of Toros University Undergraduate Programs.

Graduation Requirements
A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no course with FF or FD grade to be graduated from the program
