Objectives of the Course At the end of this course, students are expected to have the knowledge and skills to develop a preschool program.
Contents of the Course Basic principles of Pre-school education program; Direct instruction, Theme-based approach, Developmentally appropriate practice, High Scope, Montessori, Bank Street, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Head Start preschool programs features; preparation of pre-school education program (basic principles, objectives and gains, teacher roles and properties, materials and educational environment, development of standards and strategies related to school-family-environment cooperation, evaluation methods of the program
