Objectives of the Course Developing visual art perception and skills by preparing theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to art and designs suitable for preschool program.
Contents of the Course Definition and function of art, place and importance of art education in contemporary education, children's image and characteristics according to their developmental stages, art education to pre-school child, visual art education methods and techniques before school, materials used.

1 Can explain basic concepts related to art education and visual arts education.
2 Analyze the position of art and painting activities in preschool education programs.
3 By recognizing the developmental stages of children's paintings, they can analyze these paintings as a language and diagnostic technique.
4 Describes the general characteristics of children's pictures.
5 It evaluates children's paintings during these periods by counting the developmental stages of children's paintings (scribble period, pre-schema period, schematic period, realism period and seemingly natural period).
6 Demostrates what pre-school art and painting activities are and how to apply them.
