Objectives of the Course Turkish War of Independence of the Republic of Turkey and provide accurate information about the date. To unite Turkish youth, country, state and nation with national goals in an indivisible integrity. To educate and strengthen Turkish youth in the direction of Atatürkist thought. Ataturk's Principles and Revolution to grasp that allows the establishment of the Republic of Turkey.
Contents of the Course To overcome the love of the nation and the homeland to the youth of the university and to follow the principles of Ataturk: to make them grow up as Ataturk young people, to develop the consciousness of democracy and to understand what stages we have reached through the level of modern democratic administration. To give attitudes, behaviors and talents to the Turkish youth, which will bring the solutions of the present and future problems with the Ataturk approach.

1 Analyze the effects of the developments in Europe on the Ottoman Empire and have information about the political, social situation of the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the twentieth century.
2 Understands the causes of the First World War and the developments that led to the war, makes inferences about the situation of the Ottoman Empire
3 With the signing of the Armistice of Mondros, he analyzes the Ottoman administration and the attitude of the people and Mustafa Kemal.
4 Analyzes the works of Mustafa Kemal during the preparation period of the National Struggle
5 Relate the acceptance of Misakımilli and the opening of the Grand National Assembly to the principles of “national sovereignty” and “full independence ile on the basis of the integrity of the country.
6 Understands the developments in the Eastern Front, Southern Front and Western Front during the National Struggle Period.

8 Mondros Armistice Agreement (Armistice) (30 October 1918) (1) .Evvela The occupation of the straits in the Straits by the Entente for the purpose of opening the Dardanelles and Bosphorus Straits and securing the passage to cross the Black Sea. (7). The occupation of the dispatch points by the Entente forces. (8). All port and anchorage, the exploitation of the ships belonging to the Entente. (10). The invasion of the Taurus tunnels. (23). When confusion arises in the Armenian province, the occupation of these provinces by the Entente States.
