Objectives of the Course To support the projects theoretically which contain intensive environmental data with the aim of ensuring spatial quality in public space design, to support the students in mastering these subjects can be summarized as the main objectives of the course
Contents of the Course Space, City Environment Culture, Individual, Society – Environment relationships, basic concepts and theories Physical reflections of Social Organization Human Environment / Reflections of Social Structure on Architectural Space / Environmental Image, Individual perception, Social Perception Public Space Definitions, Reflections on Physical and Architectural Space / Private – Semi Private – Semi Public and Public Space Definitions, Their impacts on the shaping the architectural Space Analyzing internal and external space, impacts on architectural design Spatial quality Public Space quality, Evaluating the quality of the environment, methods, evaluation techniques, figures that will be evaluated Public space quality as an input to architectural design
