The department of Interior Architecture is founded in the facullty of Fine Arts in 2009. Undergraduate education period is 4 years. The education and the learning language is Turkish. The name of the faculty is changed as The Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture in 2016. The students are accepted by a special exam for talent until now. But in the academic year 2017-2018 the students (60 students) will be accepted by central university exam of the state with the result in the points of LGS-MF-4 category . In the Academic year 2016-2017, current number of total undergraduate students is about 240. First time, in the academic year of 2015-2016, 22 students are graduated from the undergraduate program of interior architecture. |

Admission & Registration Requirements |

Sixty students are accepted to the Department of Interior Architecture with the Central Placement Exam organized by Higher Education Council. The registration of the students is realized by the Student Affairs Office on the calendar frame determined by the University Senate ın the framework of the Higher Education Council. Students must be terminated successfully high school education and accepted with the result of the LGS-MF-4 points from Central Placement Exam. |

Students may be excluded from some of the courses they receive from other institutions of higher education on condition that they are accompanied by official documentation and timely application of regulations. |

Candidates placement occured by taking into account the relevant scores, their preferences for higher education programs and the quotas and conditions of these programs for each interior architecture school. |
Profile of the Programme |

Graduates of interior architecture are guided to prepare themselves as conscious, knowledgeable individuals with professional skills in designing the interior spaces at different scales including national and international levels. Within the framework of current academic and technological developments, the profession of interior architecture has interacted with many field such as architecture, industrial design and other artistic field in terms of interdisciplinary studies. According to the identity of a Toros University as a city institution, the Bachelor of Interior Architecture program aims to educate qualified designers of the future that emphasizes with a student-centered system with its relevant theoretical courses and accomodated with practical applicatons. Due to the selection of Turkish as teaching language, the student will contribute greatly to his / her self-understanding by quickly perceiving and interpreting what is taught at university. Students, on the other hand, have the opportunity to follow the the English courses during the undergraduate education on the vocational technical field for adaptation to universal accumulations. |

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to graduate studies in same field or related areas if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the regulations of “Toros University Graduate Education and Examination Committee”, which includes ALES, general point of average, and the interview. |
Examination, Assessment and Grading Regulations |

The student's midterm exams, assignments, applied studies and the overall success of the exam is obtained. The minimum score required for the general examination is 45/100. Letters and percentage distributions are as follows. Points Letter Noto Coefficients 90-100 AA 4,00 80-89 BA 3,50 70-79 BB 3,00 65-69 CB 2,50 60-64 CC 2,00 55-59 DC 1,50 50-54 DD 1,00 40-49 FD 0,50 0-39 FF 0,00 Student who receives one of the grades AA, BA, BB, CB, CC grades is considered to have fulfilled that grade successfully. A student who receives one of the grades FD and FF is dersten unsuccessful. |
Graduation Requirements |

Students are required to successfully complete all of the courses in the program in order to be able to earn a diploma from the Department of Interior Architecture. To graduate, the weighted grade average must meet at least 2.00 over 4.00 and at least 1.00 grade over 4.00 each. In addition, the credits received from the courses must have a total of 240 ECTS credits. |

Theoretical lectures are given in the classroom environment and architectural design courses are given in studio environments. Computer and projection equipment is available in the study environmet.. Library ın the campus has books and online databases is available. |
