SCHOLARSHIP
Students are offered different kinds of scholarship in Toros University. The most important one among them is the scholarship which is given to those who are registered into programs with scholarship according to LYS (University Entrance Exam). There are two types of quota for programs at Toros University: quota of scholarship programs and quota of non-scholarship programs. The students who are registered into scholarship programs do not pay educational fees. The scholarship which is provided for the students who are registered into the scholarship programs only covers the educational fees. This scholarship does not cover accommodation, food services, transportation, books and foreign educational costs. This scholarship also covers 1-year education in the preparatory school program. These scholarships does not require repayment and covers normal academic period, but it does not cover the period which exceeds normal academic period.
For those students who have graduated from MEV Private Toros Anatolian High School, Private Toros Science High School and Private Tarsus Toros Anatolian High School, a reduction over the educational fee at a rate determined by the Board of Trustee is made under the name of the Scholarship of Toros Schools. The reduction rate for these students who entered in 2014-2015 is 50%. The Scholarship of Toros Schools only consists of reduction over the educational cost and the expenses apart from accommodation, food services, transportation, books and foreign educational costs are not included. This scholarship also covers a one-year period of the Preparatory School. This is a non-refundable grant and it covers the normal educational period but it does not cover the excess educational period.
Note: The scholarships do not cover the Summer School and they cover the 5-year educational period without taking grade-point average into consideration.
Note: *In case a student becomes entitled to get more than one scholarship, only one kind of a scholarship with the highest rate is implemented.
